The Thunder come into this game ready to end their 1st round series against the Grizzlies and get to the next round of the playoffs. Unfortunately for the Grizzlies, Ja Morant will miss Game 4 due to the hip injury he suffered in Game 3. When Morant left Game 3, the Grizzlies were winning 67-40. They ended up losing 114-108, getting outscored 74-41 the rest of the way. Needless to say, especially without Ja Morant, the Grizzlies do not match up AT ALL with the Thunder. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Chet Holmgren, Jalen Williams, Isaiah Hartenstein, Alex Caruso, and Luguentz Dort are ALL capable scorers and defenders. It wouldn’t be surprising to see the Thunder win this game by 25+ points. After all, they completely SHUTDOWN the Grizzlies over the last 27 minutes when Morant was out. Desmond Bane and Scottie Pippen Jr. are capable players, but with all of the Thunder’s defensive focus coming on them, it’s hard to see how Memphis does a ton of scoring today. Look for the Thunder to come out AGGRESSIVE EARLY and look to put this game away before it even begins!
