There’s perhaps no food nor synonymous with sports and the Ultimate Gameday Lifestyle than chicken wings. Chicken wings can be found at virtually every sports bar, sports venue, and restaurant in America. But what if you don’t want to go out to enjoy chicken wings while watching your favorite team? What is one to do?!
Fortunately, all you have to do is follow our recipe below! It’s easier than it looks and will taste just the same!
Ingredients:
- 2 pounds of chicken wings
- 2 tablespoons ofvegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of onion powder
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour
(You can include any seasoning or spice you like here!)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400° Fahrenheit.
- In a large bowl, combine the vegetable oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss them in the spice mixture until they’re coated evenly.
- Add the flour to the bowl and toss the wings again until they’re coated in a thin layer of flour.
- Place the chicken wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake the chicken wings for 45-50 minutes, or until they’re crispy and cooked through. Flip the wings halfway through the cooking time.
- Serve the chicken wings with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!
But what if you don’t want to bake them? You can also fry the chicken wings instead of baking them, if you prefer. Just heat up vegetable oil in a deep skillet or pot over medium-high heat, and fry the chicken wings for about 8-10 minutes until they’re golden brown and crispy. Drain the excess oil on a paper towel before serving.
As with most of our drink and food recipes, you can add in any seasonings or spices that you like. The variation is the best part! Give this recipe a try, and your entire team will be thankful that they’re watching the game with you!
