New Mexico State has shown to have one of the best offenses in the conference, and the Miners have arguably the worst defense in the conference. Aggies QB Diego Pavia is a legitimate dual threat quarterback. Pavia has double digit carries in each of the last 4 games for the Aggies and has 96 or more rushing yards in 3 of his last 4 games. The Miners have struggled defensively this year and Pavia will present unique challenges for them. New Mexico has also been playing stout defense this year, while the Miners have been inconsistent on the offensive side of the ball. The Miners have scored 10 or less points in 3 of their last 5 games. Aside from their win against FIU last week, they also went 4 straight games giving up at least 24 points. Miners QB Cade McConnell will have his hands full and will need to step up tonight to keep up with the offense of the Aggies.
