PLAY OF THE DAY!

Teasers can be a GREAT way to get better teams at better numbers.

The Dolphins are coming off an impressive road win against the Rams. Their defense was phenomenal, and the offense had success moving the ball, but struggled to put the ball in the endzone. Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has played well since returning from his latest concussion, throwing 4 touchdowns and just 1 interception while having a QB Rating of 89 or higher in all 3 games. It’s ALWAYS tough for a west coast team to travel east and play at 1pm, and the Raiders are no exception. They’ve had a carousel at quarterback this year and veteran Gardner Minshew is back under center. Simply put, the Raiders don’t have the talent that the Dolphins have. With Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, De’Von Achane, and Raheem Mostert, the Dolphins have PLENTY of weapons to take advantage of a weak Raiders defense. If the Dolphins can continue their defensive success from last week, they shouldn’t have ANY ISSUES pounding out the Raiders at Hard Rock Stadium!

The Lions have one of the BEST offenses in football, as evidenced by them scoring 26 points last week despite suffering through 5 Jared Goff interceptions on the road! At Ford Field, the Lions are even MORE dominant than usual! They are AVERAGING 34 points per game in front of the Lions faithful this season! Only 2 of Detroit’s games this season have gone under 41 total points. There are rumors that the head coach of the Jaguars, Doug Pederson, will be fired with a loss in Detroit today. Given that Detroit didn’t look good for large portions of their last game, expect them to come out FIRING and ready to go against an inferior team at home. The key to this Play is the Jaguars offense. Mac Jones and the offense was TERRIBLE last week! It was a group effort of futility against the Vikings defense. However, despite missing Trevor Lawrence, the Jags do boast some offensive talent. Travis Etienne Jr. and Brian Thomas Jr. lead an underrated, if unspectacular, offense. If the Jaguars can do ANYTHING, the Lions SHOULD care for the rest and get us over this number!
