Xam’s Daily Gem:
Suns Money Line -115
The Suns came into the season with big hopes and vision after acquiring Bradley Beal and getting a new ownership group in the offseason. It hasn’t quite worked out that way, as Phoenix sits at just 12-10 and have yet to see Kevin Durant, Bradley Beal, and Devin Booker on the court at the same time. However, the season is young, Phoenix has been great on the offensive side of the ball, and have played underrated defense as well. Jusuf Nurkic has given them a big presence in the middle of their defense. Devin Booker has been on fire to start the year as well. While the Warriors have been more than fine offensively, it too often comes down to superstar Stephen Curry to make it all happen. Klay Thompson hasn’t been his usual self, and other guys like Jordan Poole haven’t stepped up consistently. The Suns lead the league in blocks and the Warriors can be inconsistent shooting the ball. However, the Warriors are one of the best teams in terms of rebounds per game. If the Suns can limit the 2nd chance opportunities for the Warriors, they should be able to score enough to get the job done in front of the home crowd tonight.
