Spurs/Nets Over 232.5 Points -112
Both teams, to put it mildly, have been bad defensively this year. The Spurs may be the worst defensive team in the league. They’re giving up just under 121 points per game! The Nets aren’t much better, giving up 115 points per game. The Nets are pretty well rested coming into this game, having played only one game since February 6th. The Spurs are also well rested coming into this game, as they have played just 2 games since February 3rd. Given that the Nets are at home facing arguably the worst defense in the league, they shouldn’t have any issues scoring. Cam Thomas and Mikal Bridges are elite scorers, and the Nets have nice secondary scorers as well. This will likely come down to what the Spurs can do offensively. The Spurs are only scoring about 112 points per game this season. Victor Wembanyama is the favorite for the Rookie of The Year award and he will need to have a big game for the Spurs to have a chance. Him and Devin Vessell are the prime scoring options for the Spurs. If they can get some help from either Tre Jones or Jeremy Sochan, the Spurs should be able to score enough to stay in this game and get us the points we need. San Antonio’s offense is the key tonight. If they step up, we could have a good old-fashioned shootout on our hands!
