Tatum is coming into this game fully rested and prepared for this game. He sat out Boston’s last game which means he’s only played 1 game since the 14th. Tatum has 5 or more assists in each of his last 2 games, 5 of his last 6, and 17 of his last 22 games overall. He’s averaging over 5 assists per game in the month of March. Jaylen Brown, Jrue Holiday, and Sam Hauser are all questionable tonight. Boston is coming into this game with a 10 game lead for the top seed in the East, so it certainly seems like they’re trying to give some key players a bit of rest before the playoffs begin. This may turn into the Jayson Tatum Game. One of the big concerns coming into tonight is the blowout potential. The Celtics are an incredible 31-3 at home this year. In addition to that, Milwaukee hasn’t been good on the road this year, sitting at just 17-7 away from Fiserv Forum. Giannis Antetokounmpo is out tonight. Even with the injuries surrounding Jaylen Brown and Jrue Holiday, this game can turn ugly early. However, Milwaukee still has enough talent to keep this game close for awhile. That’s what we are hoping for, of course. Milwaukee, even with Giannis playing, is a bad defensive team. They’re giving up over 117 points per game, 118 points on the road, and over 27 assists per game on the road. As we know, Boston’s offense is nothing short of excellent. Tatum should have plenty of chances to dish it. Milwaukee will do whatever they can to slow him down and make someone else beat them.
