Xam’s Daily Gem:
Giants -1 -119 DraftKings
Southpaw Kyle Harrison has been pitching very well recently, coming into this start with a 3.42 ERA. Two starts ago, he produced his best start of the year, going 7 scoreless innings in Colorado. Now he faces them in the friendly confines of Oracle Park. The Rockies aren’t scoring a lot of runs this year, and on the road they’re averaging just 3.73 runs per game this season. Despite winning 7 straight games, the Rockies are still a woeful 15-28 on the year, with the 2nd lowest winning percentage in the National League. They’re also just 6-16 on the road this season. They’ve also given up the 2nd most runs in the National League, and their starter tonight has contributed to that. Ryan Feltner has a 5.20 ERA coming into tonight’s start, and that goes up to 5.90 on the road. The Giants have their own faults, but they have the better starting pitcher in this and a FULLY RESTED backend of the bullpen. The key will be what the Giants bring to the table offensively. If they can get their bats going against a weak starting pitcher, the Giants SHOULD be able to take care of business in the first game of this division series!
