Kirby has been absolutely AWFUL this season, coming into tonight’s start with a 5.40 ERA and 1.28 WHIP. Michael Wacha goes for the Royals tonight, and he’s also had his struggles. He has nearly a 4 ERA and .256 batting average against on the road. The Royals NEED to get their offense going. They’ve been anemic lately, scoring just 2.8 runs per game over their last 10. If Bobby Witt Jr. can lead the Royals to a few runs, the Mariners SHOULD do the rest. Julio Rodriguez and Cal Raleigh lead an underrated Mariners offense.
