Xam’s Daily Gems 1-9 2000 1125 The Ultimate Lineup

Xam’s Daily Gems:

Jaden Ivey Over 25.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists -118

Ivey has been stepping up his game recently. In his last 10 games, he’s averaging 16 points, over 5 rebounds, and over 4 assists. His usage has also gone up. He’s averaging about 3 more minutes per game in his last 10 games compared to the rest of the regular season. Cade Cunningham’s injury is a big deal here. Ivey has been taking his minutes and should continue to tonight in what should be a very high scoring game. Guards with similar usage against the Kings have produced against the Kings, so as long as it’s not a blowout, Ivey should get his minutes and produce. It’s currently a double digit spread, but the Pistons have been playing better recently and have been somewhat competitive at home. Ivey is shooting almost 47% from the floor in his last 10 games and 39% from beyond the arc. He’s been shooting well and playing in a game that can turn into a shootout very quickly.

OG Anunoby Over 13.5 Points -118

The Knicks are 4-0 since they traded for OG Anunoby. He’s been a revelation and revitalized the team. In his last 10 games, he’s averaging 14 points per game. He’s also been very efficient shooting the ball. In his last 10 games, he’s shooting over 54% from the floor! The key tonight will be whether or not he gets the volume. Jalen Brunson and Julius Randle have been playing extremely well and sucking out a lot of the oxygen offensively recently. There’s also the potential for a blowout here, as the Knicks are playing really well and are double digit favorites at home. It would be beneficial for Portland to cooperate and keep it close. However, there’s a pretty high projected total for this game. If Portland can keep things interesting, we could see a shootout tonight which would give Anunoby more chances to hit this number.

Donte DiVincenzo Over 2.5 Made 3s -128

DiVincenzo has been on a heater from beyond the arc. In his last 10 games, he’s shooting almost 44% from beyond the arc. He’s hit a whopping 32 3-pointers in his last 10 games, and this season overall, he’s hitting 3s at a 44% clip, which is about 6% higher than his career average. His teammates have been getting him good looks all year. Opposing defenses have largely been focused on Julius Randle and Jalen Brunson. Teams have been forced to use secondary defenders against Donte, and he’s made them pay. Once again, the blowout factor is in play. However, in a game that can feature a ton of points, DiVincenzo should get plenty of chances to keep shooting and stay hot.

Anthony Davis Over 45.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists -120

Anthony Davis has stepped up recently. In his last 10 games, he’s averaging just under 28 points per game, over 12 rebounds, and over 3 assists per game. All 3 metrics are higher than his season averages. He’s also been playing almost 2 more minutes per game in his last 10 games. The Raptors have been dealing with several injuries and that includes Center Jakob Poeltl. Being shorthanded against a hot Anthony Davis on the road isn’t ideal. Overall, Davis’s FG% is about 4 percent higher this year compared to his career average, and his 3-point FG% is about 2% higher this year versus his career average. He’s been putting together a great season and should continue that tonight. With a high projected total, Davis should have plenty of opportunities to impact the game.
