Xam’s Daily Gems:
Warriors/Grizzlies Over 224.5 Points -110
The Warriors boast one of the best offenses and worst defenses in the league. They’re scoring and giving up about 118 points per game. The Grizzlies are on the 2nd night of a back-to-back so the Warriors should be able to do what they want offensively. The Warriors should be fully rested for this game, as they’ve only played one game since January 27th. Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Jonathan Kuminga know every single game is important, and they’ll be ready to go on offense. The key will be what Memphis can do offensively. If Jaren Jackson Jr., Santi Aldama, and Vince Williams Jr. can get something going against a porous defense, we could be in store for an old-fashioned shootout tonight at FedExForum.
Magic/Timberwolves Over 213 Points -110
Both teams are coming into this game rested and ready to go. The Timberwolves are the #1 seed in the Western Conference off the back of timely offense and good defense. However, they certainly know how to put up points when they need to. Anthony Edwards, Karl Anthony-Towns, and Rudy Gobert are an impressive Big 3, and they’ll need all 3 of them to produce tonight. Paolo Banchero, Franz Wagner, and the rest of the team knows that for Orlando to win tonight, they’ll need to score points. The Magic have held opponents to just 110 points this year, but they’ll be hard-pressed to do that tonight. The key tonight will be Orlando’s offensive output. If we can get their stars to show up in this matchup, the Timberwolves should be able to do the rest in front of the home crowd.
