Xam’s Daily Gems:

Twins Money Line -218 DraftKings

The Twins return home and face one of the worst teams in baseball in the Colorado Rockies. The Rockies have the 2nd lowest winning percentage in the sport and are a woeful 10-25 away from Coors Field. Chris Paddack goes for the Twins. He’s been inconsistent this year, but his ERA at home is MUCH better than on the road. While he has an ERA of 8.20 on the road, he has a respectable 3.26 ERA at Target Field. The Rockies counter with Dakota Hudson, who has also struggled this year. This should be a game where Paddack gets back on track. The Rockies don’t hit or score a lot of runs. The Twins SHOULD have everyone in the bullpen available as well! If Paddack can shut down the Rockies, the Twins should score enough to get it done!

Padres Money Line -218 DraftKings

The Padres send their ace Dylan Cease to the mound in the first game of their series against the Athletics. He’s got a respectable 3.51 ERA in his first season with the Padres. The A’s have scored just 242 runs this season. That’s just 3.61 runs per game and the 2nd fewest in the American League! The Padres are fighting to get back to .500 and in a crowded National League, these are the games they need to get. The Padres have started figuring out their offense, scoring 55 times in their last 10 games. They should be able to continue scoring against Joey Estes, who has a 4.67 ERA this year and a 6.59 road ERA! The Padres should ALSO have all their needed bullpen arms as well!

Astros/Giants Over 8 Runs -112 DraftKings

The Astros have been scoring runs in droves recently, scoring 50 times in their last 10 games. Now they face southpaw Kyle Harrison who’s been getting smacked around. He’s given up 3 or more runs in each of his last 3 starts and has given up 26 hits in that stretch! Meanwhile, Spencer Arrighetti has been BRUTAL for the Astros. He has a 5.79 ERA this year and a 7.54 ERA on the road! He also has a 7.06 ERA in night games! If the Giants can produce ANYTHING offensively, we just may be in store for slugfest in San Francisco!

Seth Lugo Over 4.5 Ks -115 DraftKings

Seth Lugo has been nothing short of fantastic for the Royals this year. He gave up 5 runs in his last start and STILL has a 2.13 ERA on the year! He’s averaging 5.46 strikeouts per start this year. The Yankees have struck out 95 times in their last 10 games and flew late to Kansas City after playing the late game last night. The Yankees have been striking out more with Juan Soto out of the lineup. Lugo has cleared this number in his last 2 starts and 7 of his last 8! He had 8 strikeouts or more in 4 of those starts. The Royals have also used A TON of bullpen arms recently and played in extra innings yesterday. They’ll be motivated to let Lugo go as long as he can! If Lugo can attack the strike zone and keep his pitch count under control, he shouldn’t have ANY ISSUES clearing this number AGAIN!
