Gary Anderson Money Line -148 FanDuel 2 Units
“The Flying Scotsman” starts his 16th World Matchplay tonight. He has the 2nd most points in PDC this season, and he’s also looking to avenge some recent losses to Michael Smith. Anderson just has been better on the Pro Tour recently, and Michael Smith has been struggling. It’s a tough ask for Smith right now, who’s averaging just over 95 points in the rankings of players with the highest averages. Compare that to Anderson, who has a high scoring average AND has the 2nd most points in the calendar year!
Chris Dobey Money Line -320 3 Units FanDuel
These are two competitors that simply don’t matchup well at all. Ritchie Edhouse has the SINGLE LOWEST ODDS to win World Matchplay on FanDuel as of this writing! “Hollywood”, as he’s known, loves running up the score and could EASILY hit the most 180’s if he’s on his game. Edhouse’s average is around 91.5 and that is simply not good enough to take down Dobey when “Hollywood” is on his game. Simply put, if Dobey plays his game, he should make quick work here and move on in World Matchplay.
Michael Smith/Gary Anderson Over 11.5 Total 180’s -116 FanDuel 2 Units
These are two top performers who in the past have brought out the best in each other and have had extended matches. Despite Anderson playing better at this moment, Smith won’t go away quietly and will be ready to go. It wouldn’t be surprising to see this go the distance, a 19th leg shootout. Both players have proven they can score and that they won’t be overwhelmed by the moment or the competition! That’s the key to this Play. If we can get a little back and forth action, these two heavyweights shouldn’t have ANY ISSUES hitting some 180’s in what should be another classic bout!
