Baseball Hall of Fame: VIRTUAL FIELD TRIP: WOMEN’S HISTORY: DIRT ON THEIR SKIRTS The Ultimate Lineup

Have you ever been to the Baseball Hall of Fame?  It is a magical place filled with baseball’s greatest memories.  If you cannot get to the Hall of Fame, the next best thing is to have a virtual visit.  The HOF, in connection with CILC, the Center for Interactive Learning and Collaboration is offering a unique and FREE program.  CILC partners with world renowned museums, zoos, science centers, experts, and more, to connect individuals to live, interactive, virtual visits that inspire learning.

“Take me out to the ball game,” sang Katie Casey in the famous baseball anthem. Katie was not alone. Women and girls have always loved and played the game and have worked hard to fulfill their baseball dreams. In this unit, students and their families will explore milestones and events in the history of women and girls in baseball to determine how their achievements led to greater opportunities for all. This program is free and in collaboration with CILC, but registration is required. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information to join the virtual program.
