BBQ ribs are best cooked low and slow, but that doesn’t mean they can’t be a good weekend night meal. They are perfect for a simple meal, just a few ingredients and store bought BBQ sauce and these are the most simple ribs you can make. These ribs are made in the oven starting super low, and then turning up the heat to caramelize the BBQ sauce.
Ingredients:
- 1 Rack of Ribs
- Bottle of BBQ Sauce
- Salt and Pepper
- Your favorite spice blend
Instructions :
- Pre-Heat Oven to 250F
- Prepare a baking sheet by placing a sheet of heavy duty aluminum foil down
- Place the ribs on the baking sheet bone side up
- Season with spice rub, salt and pepper
- Flip rack of ribs over and season the other side
- Wrap the ribs tightly in aluminum foil
- Place in oven for 2.5 hours
- Raise temperature to 350F
- Unwrap the ribs and coat with BBQ Sauce
- Cover lightly with aluminum foil
- Continue to cook for 20 minutes
- Uncover ribs and continue to cook for 20 minutes
- Remove ribs from oven let cool for 10 minutes and cut into individual ribs
