Ingredients (Serves 4):
- 4 cups of apple cider
- 8 oz (1 cup) of Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey (adjust to taste)
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 4 cloves
- 2-3 slices of fresh orange
- 1-2 tablespoons of honey (adjust for sweetness)
- Whipped cream (optional)
- Cinnamon sugar for rimming the glasses (optional)
- Apple slices or orange twists for garnish (optional)
- Warm the Apple Cider: In a saucepan over medium-low heat, warm the apple cider. Be careful not to boil it; you want it comfortably warm for serving.
- Add Spices: While the cider is warming, add the cinnamon sticks, cloves, and fresh orange slices to the pot. These aromatic spices will infuse their flavors into the cider. Let them simmer gently for about 10-15 minutes.
- Sweeten to Taste: Stir in 1-2 tablespoons of honey to sweeten the cider. Adjust the sweetness to your preference. If you like it sweeter, feel free to add a bit more honey.
- Remove Spices: Once the cider is infused with the spices and has reached the desired warmth, remove the cinnamon sticks, cloves, and orange slices.
- Add Fireball Whiskey: Pour in 8 oz (1 cup) of Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey, or adjust the amount to your desired level of warmth and spiciness. Stir well to combine.
- Rim the Glasses (Optional): For an extra touch, you can rim the glasses with cinnamon sugar. Simply wet the glass rim with a bit of apple cider, then dip it into a plate of cinnamon sugar.
- Serve: Pour the spiced apple cider and Fireball Whiskey punch into heatproof glasses or mugs.
This is the perfect recipe for a cold and chilly day. Staying warm is paramount! As always, please enjoy responsibly.
