The Best Value to Win the Super Bowl 150 150 The Ultimate Lineup

We’re down to our last 3 games in the NFL Season. The season has absolutely flown by and we’re down to the AFC Championship game, the NFC Championship game, and of course, the Super Bowl.

The 49ers and Ravens have been the two best teams in the league, and these two teams are the current favorites, unsurprisingly, to reach the Super Bowl. They’re the #1 seed in their respective conferences for a reason. However, do those teams have the best value to win the Super Bowl? We think there’s another team with the best bang for your buck.

As of this writing, the Chiefs are +410 to win the Super Bowl on FanDuel Sportsbook. The Chiefs are +380 as of this writing on DraftKings Sportsbook. Regardless of the Sportsbook you look at, however, the Chiefs are clearly the team with the 2nd lowest odds to win the Super Bowl. So, why are they the best value? The first answer is easy. They have the single best player remaining in the playoffs, and perhaps in the entire NFL, in quarterback Patrick Mahomes. As an underdog, he’s 8-3 overall and 9-1-1 against the spread. You can also argue the Chiefs have the best head coach left in the playoffs. Either way, even if you don’t Andy Reid is a surefire Hall of Fame head coach the second he retires.

The Chiefs also have a tremendous defense. They faced two high powered offenses from the regular season, the Dolphins and the Bills. In those two games, they gave up a total of 31 points, forced 3 total fumbles, forced turnovers against the Dolphins, and just generally speaking made life tough for the opposing offense. Yes, the Ravens are coming into this game with a couple of distinct advantages. First off, they obviously played one less game in the playoffs. They also played in the Divisional Round on Saturday afternoon, while the Chiefs played Sunday night.

However, there’s reason to believe that this game will ultimately decide who wins the Super Bowl. The 49ers looked like anything but world champions in their win against the Packers on Saturday night. Star wide receiver Deebo Samuel is also hurt and may not even play this weekend against the Lions. If the Lions and Chiefs were both to win on Sunday, the Chiefs would very likely be the favorite to win the game. Even against San Francisco they’d likely only be slight underdogs in the game. The value on the Chiefs comes on whether or not we think there’s a chance they can beat the Ravens. Ravens QB Lamar Jackson is just 2-3 in the playoffs, and we’ve seen him not play very well historically. Yes, he dominated against the Houston Texans, but that’s what they should’ve done. Even though they turned it on in the 2nd half, the game was tied at 10 heading into halftime. The Chiefs have the talent, coaching, and winning history to take advantage if the Ravens start off slowly again.

Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid are giving bettors a lot of value. Backing the best QB in the world at this price does make sense, and has plenty of value to it.
