Alabama is looking to come back from a devastating loss to Vanderbilt last weekend. They went into the game as 3 touchdown favorites, yet the Commodores managed to pull out a 40-35 win. You just KNOW the Crimson Tide will come at mad in Tuscaloosa today. Bryant-Denny Stadium is going to be a madhouse all day long, and that’s just BAD NEWS for the Gamecocks. Don’t be surprised to see Kalen DeBoer’s team come out extremely aggressively early on. The offense hasn’t been the issue for the Crimson Tide this season. Quarterback Jalen Milroe has this offense HUMMING. The 35 points they scored last week are the fewest points they’ve scored all season long! Coming off that kind of shocking loss, the offense will be ready to go. It’s Alabama’s defense that needs to show up. They’ve given up 74 points in the last 2 weeks! They also gave up 10 points to Wisconsin and 16 to South Florida. The key to this Play will likely be what South Carolina can do offensively. They were completely shut down last week, scoring just 3 points at home against Ole Miss. For the Gamecocks to have ANY chance, they need LaNorris Sellers to produce at quarterback. Quite frankly, if South Carolina can get into the 10-13 point range, the Crimson Tide SHOULD care for the rest!
