Xam’s Daily Gem:
Cavaliers/Pacers Over 223 Points -130 DraftKings
Both the Cavs and Pacers are coming into this game well rested, as they have only played one game since the 13th. The Pacers have lived and died with their offense this year. They’re scoring 123 points per game and are giving up 121 points per game! The Cavaliers are averaging about 114 points per game this season and they shouldn’t have any issues scoring tonight. The Cavaliers are a good defensive team, as they’re giving up just 109 points per game this season. However, that number is up to almost 111 points per game in the last 10 games, and the Pacers are averaging a whopping 125 points per game at home! The Pacers should be able to score points tonight like they always do. The key question here is whether or not the Cavs can produce offensively. Evan Mobley, Max Strus, and Donovan Mitchell are out tonight. That’s a lot of offensive firepower to be missing tonight. There’s some potential for this game to get out of hand. We will need Darius Garland, Jarrett Allen, and even Georges Niang to produce tonight. If they can and the Cavs can put some points on the board, the Pacers should be able to do the rest tonight. The Pacers are hardly known for their defensive prowess, so the Cavaliers should still produce offensively despite them missing key offensive playmakers.
