Yankees -1 -209 DraftKings 3 Units
Are the Yankees REALLY going to lose a home series to the Rockies?! In the race for the AL East, it wouldn’t get much more embarrassing than that! After getting blown out yesterday, they NEED Marcus Stroman to step up and deliver. Despite yesterday’s offensive outburst, the Rockies are a TERRIBLE hitting team on the road! The Yankees are only up 1/2 a game on the Orioles and they can’t afford to be losing these games. They SHOULD be able to hit southpaw Austin Gomber. He has a 5.06 ERA and 1.26 WHIP over his last 7 starts. In day games, he has a nearly 6 ERA, .298 batting average against, and 1.56 WHIP. Expect the Yanks to come out READY to go! If Stroman can contain a weak Rockies, lineup, expect the Yankees to get the job done and take the series!
Royals Money Line -140 BetMGM 3 Units
The Royals send Seth Lugo to the mound in the rubber game of their series against the Phillies. He’s been nothing short of FANTASTIC this season, posting a 3.02 ERA and 1.09 WHIP this year. He’s been struggling recently though and needs to get himself back on track. He did so in his last start against the Angels. Today will be a much tougher test, but he’s ready for the challenge! Southpaw Kolby Allard has his own challenges to wade through today, however. He’s only pitched 13 innings on the year and is being thrown straight into the FIRE today! The Phillies just haven’t been the same team recently. The Royals can roll up the score at Kauffman Stadium, and average over 5 runs per game at home. The Royals come into play tied for the 2nd Wild Card spot in the American League and 2 games back of the Guardians for the AL Central lead! They are the more desperate team, are at home, AND have a BIG edge in starting pitching!
Twins Money Line -136 FanDuel 3 Units
The Twins are sending rookie starter Zebby Matthews to the mound in the rubber game of their series against the Cardinals. He’s gone 5 innings and given up 2 earned runs in each of his first two starts. It’ll be a TOUGH matchup against a lineup with veteran hitters, but the Cardinals have been inconsistent at the plate all year long. The Cardinals counter with Erick Fedde, whom they acquired at the Trade Deadline from the White Sox. He’s been MUCH worse on the road than he has been at home. He has an ugly 4.52 ERA, .244 batting average against, and 1.24 WHIP on the road this season. That’s BAD NEWS BEARS facing a Twins team that AVERAGES over 5 runs per game at home this year! The Twins SHOULD have all of tbeir premium relievers available for this game as well! If Matthews can keep the Cardinals lineup in check, the Twins SHOULD be able to take the rubber game today!
Dodgers -1 -178 DraftKings 3 Units
The Dodgers burned us bad yesterday, but we’re back for more! They’re in a good spot to take this game and the series despite choking it away last night. Gavin Stone has been AWESOME for the Dodgers this season, posting a 3.44 ERA and 1.24 WHIP on the year. He’s coming off two successful starts in a row, giving up just 1 earned run over those 2 starts, spanning 12 innings. He shouldn’t have ANY ISSUES containing a WEAK Rays hitting lineup! Shane Baz was scheduled to start today, but he’s sick and won’t be able to go out there. Jacob Lopez has been called up to take his place. He has pitched a grand total of 5.1 innings on the year! Hard to ask for a much tougher matchup than this. The Dodgers have one of the DEEPEST lineups in baseball and they shouldn’t have any issues pounding out more runs. They’ve tallied 15 runs so far in this series. If Stone can keep his recent hot streak going, the Dodgers shouldn’t have any trouble taking the series today.
